Cryptography has decidedly been in the field of research for decades with the motive of enhancing the security of information exchange. This project exhibits a variationin the implementation of a classical cipher technique, the Playfair cipher.
A set of rules is followed to encrypt the content in the matrix. Cryptanalysis takes place through the key space for matches between the frequency of occurrence of diagrams and the known frequency of occurrence of diagrams in the assumed language of the original message.
